A basket of dim sum, a table full of life.
Made for busy Saturday family tables, not for the camera.

When the steamer reaches your table, the meal has begun.
Regency Palace is a proper Cantonese dining hall in Leeds: round tables, lazy Susans, and basket after basket of dim sum brought to the table. Everything is steamed fresh to order — har gow, siu mai and custard buns all made by hand, with no frozen shortcuts. Whole fish go into the steamer and come out the moment they're ready. We don't stockpile in the kitchen: when it's gone, it's gone — so come early on busy days.
When it's ready, it goes straight to the table.

Dim sum made fresh
Har gow, siu mai and molten custard buns are steamed to order each day — when they're gone, they're gone.
Whole fresh fish
Each fish is weighed before steaming and comes to the table with ginger and spring onion oil straight off the wok.
Built for gatherings
Round tables with lazy Susans — family dinners, celebrations and birthdays all fit comfortably.
Takeaway at menu prices
Our dim sum travels well — packed in its steamers with the sauces boxed separately, so everything arrives home in good shape.
Get the answers before you visit.
Is the dim sum made fresh daily?
Yes. We make and steam everything in-house each day — nothing frozen, nothing pre-made. Our most popular baskets often sell out by lunchtime, so it's first come, first served.
How long does steamed fish take?
Each fish is weighed before it goes in, and the cooking time depends on the weight, so it takes a little longer than a stir-fry. Let us know when you order and we'll bring out starters first.
Should I book ahead for a large group?
On weekends and bank holidays our round tables fill up fast, so we'd recommend calling ahead. Our number is just below — tap it to dial.
Can I get takeaway?
Absolutely. Both dim sum and hot dishes are available to take away — we pack steamers and broths separately. Ring ahead to order and it'll be hot and boxed when you arrive.
Do you have vegetarian options?
We do — vegetarian dim sum and seasonal greens. Just mention any dietary requirements to your server and the kitchen will cook them separately.
Is it easy for children and elderly guests?
Round tables have lazy Susans and we have high chairs available. Our dim sum is gently flavoured, and the congee and steamed dumplings suit younger and older diners alike.
